Amanda Buyiswa Kandawire is a commercial airline pilot and self-taught illustrator who creates art in the quiet moments between flights. Based in Dubai and originally from Soweto, South Africa, her work is inspired by travel, people, and the beauty found in transition, between cities, between identities, between versions of self.
